And,
of course, the DDA has a running gig at Memorial Regional Hospital,
Hollywood, FL every last Sunday of the month for the Transitional
Care Unit. This program was provided to us by Ms. Debbie Rice,
Recreational Therapist, who was instrumental in Father Time's recovery.
Father Time spent six weeks in the TCU Unit and if it had not been
for the tenacity, kindness and support of Debbie, he would not have
been able to pull out of that chasm of depression the newly disabled
find themselves in. Thanks to her, we have been given the
chance to "give back" and hopefully, be instrumental
in bringing someone else out of the "abyss".
